Hello and welcome back to Nostalgic Summer memories using your senses. In today’s video number 3, I am showing a way to Document using your sense to hear. Music and television was a big part of our summer as a kid and in this video I show how I am documenting them. It’s very different then what it is now because once the good shows were over then boredom kicked in. Thankful for my sisters so I did have someone to play games and other activities. I created a pocket envelope and mini junk tag that resembles ice cream and the ice cream packaging.
The printable template for them is available on my blog under the post for this video.Hope you are inspired to create using the sense of hearing.
Thanks for watching and see you tomorrow when we talk about smell! Happy Creating, Rebecca
Hello and welcome back to Nostalgic Summer memories using your senses. Today’s video is about Documenting using the sense Sight. I have created a fold out map of a place we use to go as a kid for picnics, camping and Sunday fun. It was fun remembering all the little things, like the swimming hole and large picnic table for all the family. Hope you are inspired to create using your sense of Sight.
Yay! Hello and welcome to Documenting our Summer Nostalgic memories Video series! This series will run for seven days and each day will give examples of how to document using your senses! Sight, Hearing, Smell Taste and Touch. The idea of this project came to me while digging through an old box of photos. This project can be a combination of past, present and future summers. It can be used to document summers when you were a kid, summers with your kids or grandkids, or just random memories of summer’s past. I love the idea of documenting about your favorite nostalgic movies, food, or events that you want to remember. Endless possibilities! In this video, I will be showing you my journal I plan to use and my “Creative Station” with all the things I plan to document with. A free printable is located on the blog, posted on Sunday, June 7th. . Thanks for watching and I will “see” you tomorrow when we will be talking about sight!

So excited to start the journaling and planning for the most wonderful time of the year I have kept a December Daily Journal for many years now and it has become one of my favorite projects. This is a project created by Ali Edwards and as she has said before the joy of this project is there is a beginning and an end. I have learned over the years the best way for me to be successful at this project is to be prepared which means prepping. In this video I show you how I prep for the upcoming holiday season. I will be using a Little Golden Book for documenting my December Daily Junk Journal style and a Cahier size Traveler’s Notebook for my personal journal. I also show you my Christmas Planner which I use to keep everything in to do lists. I hope you are inspired! I will be creating several videos for the Junk journal your Christmas 2019 so stay tuned! Follow me on Instagram and Facebook at Rebeccahoot for more peeks! Thanks for watching!!

Hello! In today’s video I show a little something new I have been experimenting in my journal. So many times I do not have time to write full blown journal pages but I want to capture the days using one sentence or possibly a significant date (birthdays, anniversaries). I have started to create “a week at a glance” in my Cahier size Junk Journal. I use a combination of stickers, stamps and ephemera to set the week. Once the week is set I use the next pages in my journal for writing more details and adding photos and ephemera. I hope you are inspired to create in your journal today!
