Fancy Cup Planner Set-up

In case you don’t know the history of this Fancy Cup Design, last year Target came out with the most adorable pencil cup and as a stationery addict and lover of all cute things I had to have it! This cup has inspired so many, you can find many things using this design. As a creator, I made one out of paper, paint and ink for a planner dashboard. If you browse a few posts back I am offering the design as a free printable, for your own planner, jounaling or scrapbook so be sure to check that out.

Lately, I have had Paris on the brain and after my friend told me this fancy cup design looked Parisian, well I had to create planner dividers with a Paris theme in mind. My planner weekly layout I used diecuts from the American Crafts, Pebbles, Tea Time

The planner I’m using this week is from Michael’s Personal Planner recollection  The inside pockets wouldn’t be complete without a chubby little grey cat, (clip from Lady Bug on a Pug) don’t you agree?!?

If I had to select the top three pens I use on a daily basis, I would say Papermate Flair Pens, Inkjoy Gel Pens, and LePens
What are your favorite pens? Any I need to try? Thanks for stopping in and Happy Stationery Week! ~ Rebecca

Easter Planner Setup

There is just something about Spring and Eastertime that brings a renewal to the soul. It’s the time where everything is green and in bloom and although Spring storms can be fierce I love a downpour of rain. This week is Easter week so of course my planner is in full boom and filled with all things green and bunny related.
SMLXL

I had purchased DoodleBug Design paper from the last ATX Planner Retreat from Preppy Planner Cat and was able to use the adorable papers to make dividers in this week’s setup.
SMLXL

Keeping with the dashboard from last week, I added a few different clips to the inside pockets

For my weekly layout I wanted to use ALL the SICKERS, so what started out as an accident ~ I stuck a clear bunny sticker right on top of the carrot washi~ there was no removing the clear sticker, but after a while it grew on me and I actually liked it. So I made another layered look (Friday).

Of course my planner isn’t complete unless I add a bit of tassel love! A bit much? Never!!! HaHa!

Hope this brought a little brightness to you day! Rebecca

One Little Word April Update

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I know I’ve been behind on making videos Yikes! I have such a long list of ideas for videos and I hope to start scratching the list off by getting them created! I’ve started a daily bullet list in my mini happy planner and it really has helped me GET THINGS DONE! YAY!! In this video I flip through the last couple of months and talk about how I’m incorporating CHANGE in my life. Some of the things I feel I’m moving forward quite successfully and others well…. not so good. I am okay with that, I’m learning as I go and a BIG step for me is realizing where I need to add change and applying my thoughts into actions. As a people pleaser…eek… that is a BIG step for me. Last month’s ONE LITTLE WORD prompt from Ali Edwards was fun, it was creating a vision board, which I added a page spread to my Traveler’s Notebook. Take a look and see….

Introducing the Create with Rebecca Kit Crew

On of the goals for this year is I want to be able to show people how others in the creative world can use my monthly kits. On instagram I put out a post to apply, it was rather simple, just show your style. I was so excited and  humbled to see everyone’s interest. I selected three ladies to be part of the Kit Crew for the next three months, after that I will post again for more applicants. Introducing the first Kit Crew:

Blue and Yellow Planner Setup

This week’s planner set up is all about Blue and Yellow! Earlier in the week I created a video showing how to use old dress patterns to decorate the dashboard of this planner.
SMLXL

The blue planner is a Recollection planner from Michael’s Craft Store. I used Yellow and Blue Cardstock to create the coordinating dividers. The card stock was thick enough I did not  need to laminate them.

I used Blue and Yellow Washi to decorate weekly spread along with a variety stickers.

DIY Planner Dashboard using Vintage Dress Patterns

Hello! I created a quick video to show you how I create planner dashboards using Vintage Dress Patterns.  I love the art and designs that cover vintage dress patterns and use them quite a bit in all my paper crafting projects. The ladies always look so stylish! I look for these dress patterns at thrift stores, garage sales or antique malls and can usually find them for about a dollar a piece.  I make copies of the covers so I can have more than one use out of each of the patterns. In this video I show you how I make a dashboard using one of the prints. What I love about this style of papercrafting is the ideas or endless. You can use old book pages, photos, anything that you love the images. Hope you are inspired to create something today!

A Bit of Planner Green

Hello! This week is all about green in my personal planner, even the planner itself thanks to the Michaels’ Recollection Planner.
SMLXL

I have to say this green is a favorite! This week I used a vintage girl fussy cut from a dress pattern for the dashboard and dividers using bits and pieces from this month’s Bloom Kit. Of course since Friday is St. Patrick’s Day the tassel need to have clovers!
SMLXL

On the weekly spread, I used stickers from The Happy Planner Stickers books and vintage honey girl stickers from The Reset Girl collection.
SMLXL

An assortment of charms and baubles adorn the closure to the planner closure

Hope your having a great week. We had a time change of Springing forward and my sleep is way off! Can I go back to bed now?? Thanks for stopping by, Rebecca
