Hello! I created this video as part of a demonstration on “How I Journal” I am moving into a new journal and wanted to show you how I set it up to start. The interesting thing is I have ordered this particular composition book from Amazon, so the binding is glued and not stitched. Here is a video to show you my preparation for the journal!

Hello and Welcome to a Video Series embracing the most wonderful time of the year~ AUTUMN! Yes that is exactly how I feel! This is my most favorite season. I wanted to embrace this time of the year with a workshop. Today I am kicking off the Autumn Bliss series with a video of me painting the cover to a Traveler’s notebook I am planning to use for the workshop. I wanted a place to house my Autumn Bliss notebook and the notebook I created for Mindy Lacefield’s “Merry and Fright” workshop. Here is an overview of what to expect from this workshop, over the next 10 days we will be making lists. Below you will find a printable of prompts to use to make your list. We can connect with one another through Instagram by using hashtag #cwrautumnbliss to show us your lists. On September 18, 2021 the video series will start. There will be a daily blog post and an email out with the videos. There is not a special place to sign up to receive the emails, if you have signed up to receive general notifications through my website. I have included the itinerary and list prompts below. Welcome back to Video 3 in the “Journal Your Story” Series~ Today’s word prompt is “Just Around the Corner” I had originally thought about journaling about a room in my house but then I went and ran errands on Saturday and saw all the Valentine’s out so I thought it would be fun to Create a fun and whimsical page in my journal. It was fun to use Valentine ephemera and to get creative! I hope you are inspired to create something that makes you happy and is ‘Just Around the Corner”
See you in my next Journal prompt!!
The “Journal Your Story” Video Series is a way to kick off the New Year, with telling your story. If you are a memory keeper, scrapbooker, journaler, photographer, or social media queen… we all tell our story. I sometimes hear from others, “I don’t have an interesting life and don’t know what to write or journal about” Well, here are just a few questions you could write about: What is your weather? What do you like to eat? What are your favorite clothes you like to wear? Are you reading anything? What are your dreams? This is your story… and adding all the fluff…washi, ribbon, ephemera, stickers.. is just a bonus!
Inside this past CWR kit there was a set of journaling cards (from the Vicki Boutin Paper Line) with “word prompts” In this video series I plan to use those words as prompts. In case you were unable to purchase the kit, here are the words so everyone can play along!!
I hope this series brings you inspiration for journaling your story.
