Welcome back to Video 3 in the “Journal Your Story” Series~ Today’s word prompt is “Just Around the Corner” I had originally thought about journaling about a room in my house but then I went and ran errands on Saturday and saw all the Valentine’s out so I thought it would be fun to Create a fun and whimsical page in my journal. It was fun to use Valentine ephemera and to get creative! I hope you are inspired to create something that makes you happy and is ‘Just Around the Corner”
See you in my next Journal prompt!!
Happy New year! I wanted to pop a video up on my beginning pages in the New Journal I will be using this year! I am using a altered Composition Book and what I mean by altered, is I have glued pages together for durability and will be layering with junk journaling techniques! Anything goes! I have no idea what day the journal will end on but I plan to create a start up page for each month using one of my Large BBG (Big Brave Girl) Stickers. i created these and have them in my shop if anyone else is interested in using them in their journal too! She comes with coordinating numbers and days of the week! I hope you enjoy the video and are inspired to start your process!
Happy journaling!
January Quote: She Lives Life in her own Little Fairy Tale!
Hello January 2021 and Happy New Years! I remember as a kid, New Years Day was right up there with Christmas. We would celebrate the day with a BIG meal that included black eye peas and some years we would spend the night at my grandparents house at the lake. Today we will be eating a big meal with black eye peas, cabbage and a garlic herb meatloaf my husband makes. So good! Then I will begin the task of putting away the Christmas Decorations.
This year I actually feel I am ahead of schedule, my daughter and I set our planners up and created our vision boards last weekend. I added my One Little Word “Fairy Tale” Vision board to the beginning of my planner and made a copy for my journal. My board is full of ways to have a Fairy Tale life!
Keep an eye out over the next few days, I am going to be posting several videos: Kicking off January in my journal, continuing the “Journal Your Story” Video Series and having a flip though of my December Daily. I am sad to see Christmas go, but happy to start a fresh year with new adventures. Speaking of new adventures, have you seen the posts on IG and Facebook about the new CWR Sticker Club? Along with the monthly CWR Journal Kit I have started a CWR Sticker Club. I am going to have a blog post this weekend to tell you all about it!
Speaking of the CWR Kit, this Month’s journal kit is all about Valentines! I know, I know, nothing like moving from one holiday to the next! This kit is so adorable, it will have a vintage flair to it. The name is “Be Mine” and here is the star of the kit!
Another goal this year is to also BLOG a whole lot more, it’s so easy to post to IG and FB and be done but I am really wanting to post more about creativity, art and Journaling! Well, for now I am signing off but stay turned for upcoming blog posts and videos! Also, to welcome in the Winter months, I created a printable for you to download.
Have a great New Year’s Day!! XO, Rebecca
The “Hark” CWR Kit was inspired by a childhood photos of my mom. When she was a child, she and her siblings would have a Christmas performance for her grandparents. Oh how I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see my mom. She dressed as an angel. I absolutely love the photo and wanted to create a kit around it, what better way then to have a kit themed around Jesus’ birth. I wanted to create a kit for you that brought out the true meaning of Christmas with Angels of a heavenly Host to urge “Peace on Earth”and good will towards men.
I hope this kit brings you peace and love for the most wonderful time of the year.
Hello! I am so excited for the Christmas Season and ready to jump into getting my Decembers Daily and Christmas Planner Organized. Here is a video of the first steps in setting my journal ready for the season!

Welcome back to Video Tree in the Nostalgic School Day memory documentation. Today we are documenting Transportation! Did you ride the school bus or the city bus to school? Did you walk or your parents drive you? Here is where you will tell a “Transportation” story. Below you will find a printable bus/car school template. Paint yours either of color of the vehicle you were transported in. I was a school bus rider and my story is about how kids aren’t always nice and like to pick on others (me). Keep in mind, not all the stories you document need to be rainbows and butterflies there are thunderstorms that will are part of your story too. I hope you are inspired to tell your story and have fun creating!
