Hello and Welcome back to the Creative “Journal Your Story” – Prompt 5 “Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times” Pizza was the Hello and Welcome back to the Creative “Journal Your Story” – Prompt 5 “Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times” Pizza was the food I picked for the topic and used an older photo from 1998 to capture a story of my friends and I. I remember so many times we all hung out and ordered pizza, watched movies and talked. Such good times. What good food, good friends and good times do you think of… go create a journal entry describing it.

Welcome back to Video 2 in the Journal Your Story Series! The prompt is ” Passionately Curious” and I decided to journal about my Great Aunt. She was an amazing person, so full of adventure, love and wisdom. She passed at age 75, when I was 10 years old but I have such a vivid and fond memories of her. How I wish I could sit and talk with her again. I am passionately curious about her life as a young adult and the whens and hows of her life. She loved her parents so much, but I know there were times she lived away from them. I also used this prompt as a way to document my journey with her, what she meant to me and conversations and experiences I can remember. I have an album full of pictures and memories, so I decided to use this one to document.
So what are you passionately curious about? Is it family, other counties, music, art… so many possibilities! I hope you are inspired to create in your journal! Here is a video of my process.
Thanks for watching!
Happy New year! I wanted to pop a video up on my beginning pages in the New Journal I will be using this year! I am using a altered Composition Book and what I mean by altered, is I have glued pages together for durability and will be layering with junk journaling techniques! Anything goes! I have no idea what day the journal will end on but I plan to create a start up page for each month using one of my Large BBG (Big Brave Girl) Stickers. i created these and have them in my shop if anyone else is interested in using them in their journal too! She comes with coordinating numbers and days of the week! I hope you enjoy the video and are inspired to start your process!
Happy journaling!
The “Journal Your Story” Video Series is a way to kick off the New Year, with telling your story. If you are a memory keeper, scrapbooker, journaler, photographer, or social media queen… we all tell our story. I sometimes hear from others, “I don’t have an interesting life and don’t know what to write or journal about” Well, here are just a few questions you could write about: What is your weather? What do you like to eat? What are your favorite clothes you like to wear? Are you reading anything? What are your dreams? This is your story… and adding all the fluff…washi, ribbon, ephemera, stickers.. is just a bonus!
Inside this past CWR kit there was a set of journaling cards (from the Vicki Boutin Paper Line) with “word prompts” In this video series I plan to use those words as prompts. In case you were unable to purchase the kit, here are the words so everyone can play along!!
I hope this series brings you inspiration for journaling your story.

I have created a fold out map of a place we use to go as a kid for picnics, camping and Sunday fun. It was fun remembering all the little things, like the swimming hole and large picnic table for all the family. Hope you are inspired to create using your sense of Sight.
