Create with Me~ November’s Junk Journal Set-Up

Hello and Hello November!!! In this video I demonstrate how I create a Junk Journal from the Rebecca Hoot Everyday Journals. These journals are available in the shop, they are created with artwork prints and filled with 28 lb paper. For the past year I have been using these as my monthly junk journal and I thought I would show you how I make them. I basically select different cardstock, book pages, sheet music etc cut, fold and add to the current blank pages inside. Super fun way to personalize them. I hope you are inspired to create one today!

Hello!!! I’m so happy to be back making videos! Not sure what has kept me from making them except maybe a little 4 legged sausage dog name POKY!! Ha! I wanted to hop on and show you my October Traveler’s Notebook Journal set up. I was hoping to show the construction of my journal BUT the month was starting before I had a chance to shoot this video. So I created this flip through for now. Seriously love vintage handkerchiefs! When I saw these a couple of weekends ago in Warrenton at the Trade Days for one dollar, I have to pick them up! How sweet are the embroidered flowers? Perfect for scanning in and using as ephemera in your journal or planner! I wanted to share and I  hope you enjoy them too!

Hello April! I can’t believe we are already four months into 2019! Time Flies no matter what! I am really enjoying journaling everyday. In this video, I show you my process of how I set up my Cahier size Traveler’s Notebook for the Month. I use the Rebecca Hoot Everyday Journals and add a few different types of paper to make it a junk journal.

Everyday Journal Traveler’s Notebook Flip Through No.1

Hello! As part of my goal for 2019, I wanted to start journaling again every single day. I use to be so diligent about keeping up with my journal but life gets busy and then several days go by, then weeks and before you know it months. I wanted to fill these journals with stories while adding pictures and ephemera. Here is a flip through of my first completed journal. I can’t express how excited I am and glad I have made this commitment.

One Little Word~ Shine Journal Flip-Through

I am so excited to be completed with the introduction to my One Little Word Journal. I use the prompts from Ali Edwards “One Little Word” class to guide me in setting the tone for the new year and what I plan to accomplish. This is one of my favorite projects. I start out with writing about the past year and setting goals for the new year. This includes my creative business, my family, my home and just different aspects of my life. I also incorporate my One Little Word into the goals I want to set for myself for the upcoming year. This process sometimes takes a while but it’s worth it because at the end of the year, I will go back and reference and look at where I have come or what didn’t quite work out the way I expected. In this video, I show you a flip through of my SHINE journal. I plan to use this for the monthly prompts and just when I need to journal about my word. I used a composition notebook and in the video you will see how I construct and plan to use it. Thanks for watching! Rebecca
