Creative Journal Your Story 2~ Passionately Curious

Welcome back to Video 2 in the Journal Your Story Series! The prompt is ” Passionately Curious” and I decided to journal about my Great Aunt. She was an amazing person, so full of adventure, love and wisdom. She passed at age 75, when I was 10 years old but I have such a vivid and fond memories of her. How I wish I could sit and talk with her again. I am passionately curious about her life as a young adult and the whens and hows of her life. She loved her parents so much, but I know there were times she lived away from them. I also used this prompt as a way to document my journey with her, what she meant to me and conversations and experiences I can remember. I have an album full of pictures and memories, so I decided to use this one to document.

So what are you passionately curious about? Is it family, other counties, music, art… so many possibilities! I hope you are inspired to create in your journal! Here is a video of my process.

Paint with Me~ Halloween Junk Journal Cover

Hello! A continuation from my last video, I am painting the cover of my Halloween Junk Journal! I am currently taking a class by Mindy Lacefield called Happy Haunts. So fun to create something different then what I typically paint. This is a beginning to end video of me painting the cover to a personal size planner. I am using it as a Halloween Junk Journal! Hello and Welcome back to my Channel! In this video I am putting together a Halloween Themed Junk journal. I have gathered papers and fun ephemera and will be filling it up with all things cute and spooky. I am taking a Happy Haunts class by Mindy Lacefield so I plan on filling my journal with the artwork I create in her class! Come along and let’s get spooky!!! I am using a personal size ring bound binder to fill up with all the things!

Hello and welcome back to Video Number 2 in the Junk Journal your Christmas / December Daily 2019! This series is all about using your Christmas Stash! In this video I’m using lace, ribbons and a variety of fibers to create a PINK tree within my journal. As I talk about in the video I am dreaming of a pink tree this year, even if only in my journal! Create with Me~ November’s Junk Journal Set-Up

Hello and Hello November!!! In this video I demonstrate how I create a Junk Journal from the Rebecca Hoot Everyday Journals. These journals are available in the shop, they are created with artwork prints and filled with 28 lb paper. For the past year I have been using these as my monthly junk journal and I thought I would show you how I make them. I basically select different cardstock, book pages, sheet music etc cut, fold and add to the current blank pages inside. Super fun way to personalize them. I hope you are inspired to create one today!

October Journal Page 2019~ Week at a Glance

Hello!  In today’s video I show a little something new I have been experimenting in my journal. So many times I do not have time to write full blown journal pages but I want to capture the days using one sentence or possibly a significant date (birthdays, anniversaries). I have started to create “a week at a glance” in my Cahier size Junk Journal. I use a combination of stickers, stamps and ephemera to set the week. Once the week is set I use the next pages in my journal for writing more details and adding photos and ephemera.
