Hello Owlettes! I’m packed and ready to go do some leaf peeping. I thought I would show what I am bringing to journal along the way! Taking a few bits and bobs to help me memory keep. Planning to use lots of ephemera I pick up! I’ll see you when I get back. Follow me on Instagram for the day to day fun! Stay Sparkly, RebeccaHoot

Getting ready for my trip to New England for leaf peeping and the Maine Coast, I wanted to create a travel journal. I’m using an old paper bag to create the cover I used a printable available in the shop: https://www.rebeccahoot.com/shop/autumn-is-callingart-piece-download/
Hello Owlettes, Welcome back to another video! I have to say I’m really happy and excited to be keeping up with my May Journal pages even with the busy life we have been having! In today’s video, I am documenting our road trip to Mississippi, lots of tip-in’s used in this journal entry! Hello Owlettes, Welcome, and I am so happy you are here! I am planning to take the most Magical Trip to New England for some Leaf Peeping and a Crafty Weekend! I am beyond excited! We will be hiking and getting lost in the beautiful foliage of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine! I want to get my journal ready and think about what I will bring for a crafty weekend. We are actually planning on hitting a couple of crafty/scrapbooking shops while we are there. So I am going with a traveler’s notebook. Still trying to decide on the cover, but I wanted to show a video of my first steps to creating a travel journal. Stay Sparkly, Rebecca
Hello! I have missed you, it was a whirlwind month of June! I had the most amazing trip to DC and NY and took A LOT of photos…so many that I need a new journal! I have been watching different ways to create bigger journals using signatures. I wanted to keep the notebook I had created originally for the trip. Here is an interesting video of that process. Book binding idea came from Johanna’s video here
